The Towbes Group’s newest set of apartments in Santa Maria, Villa del Sol apartments, are designated for residents 55 and older.
The company has opened the leasing office and clubhouse and is giving tours of model apartments at the 197-unit, gated community near the corner of Battles and Blosser roads.
The project includes 1- and 2-bedroom apartments as well as studios with private balconies and patios, contemporary appliances, and a “resort-inspired” design, a company spokesman said.
Other features of the pet-friendly complex include an outdoor fireplace, pool with spa, clubhouse with coffee lounge, fitness center, and a dog park.
The leasing office is at 1311 W. Battles Road in Santa Maria. The entire complex is expected to be completed this summer.
“Villa del Sol fulfills a housing need in Santa Maria for working professionals and retired individuals age 55 and older,” said Craig Zimmerman, president of The Towbes Group.
