Excessive heat warning for SB County

Staff Report The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Watch for parts of Santa Barbara County and surrounding areas that will continue through Thursday, July 26th. Santa Barbara County Fire has also issued a Red Flag Warning for critical fire weather along with strong winds and low humidity for the South Coast and mountains. The Santa Barbara County Public Health Department is urging residents to take the necessary safety measures to avoid heat-related illnesses, including heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
