PUBLIC NOTICE OF VACANCY AND PROVISIONAL APPOINTMENT

A vacancy on the governing board of the Solvang Elementary School District has occurred by reason of the resignation of Kim Merz, effective October 13, 2017 The resignation was filed in the office of the Santa Barbara County Superintendent of Schools on October 18, 2017. Benjamin Olmedo was appointed by the governing board on November 14, 2017 to fill the above named vacancy. To challenge the appointment and order a special election, the following must be filed in the office of the Santa Barbara County Superintendent of Schools within 30 days from the date of the provisional appointment:
