Vegetation fire breaks out near Red Rock Monday afternoon

Santa Barbara County Fire is assisting the Los Padres Forest Service as a vegetation fire broke out Monday afternoon around 5 p.m., according to Mike Eliason, SBC Fire.
The Red Fire is reported about 2 - 3 acres near the Red Rock campgrounds off Paradise Road. The current temperatures are in the mid 90's and a wind speed of 5 - 12 mph and 21 percent relative humidity, Eliason stated.
Fire Cpt. Daniel Bertucelli stated forward progress of the fire is expected soon. Several crews including dozers and air attack.
