Senior: Andrew Nielsen
Sports played at Santa Ynez:
Andrew played Volleyball all 4 years of high school.
Favorite High School sports memory:
Andrew’s favorite sports memory was when the volleyball team played Orcutt Academy his Sophomore year. Andrew scored the final point with a block and had no clue that they had won.
Post High School plans:
Andrew is planning on continuing to play volleyball at a Collegiate level, and hopefully playing all 4 years of college.
Favorite Coach, Mentor, or Teacher at Santa Ynez:
“My favorite coach is Craig Scott. He was my coach for my last two years, and he taught me so much about the game. He is super knowledgeable when it comes to the game and he always made sure to make the game fun while still pushing us to play our best. I would also like to thank Mr. Fenenga for coaching me, and all the others that he coached at the high school. He has a love for the game that really shows and is one of the best teachers at school”.
