When joint pain becomes unbearable it can interfere with daily activities and prevent people from doing the things they love.
Dr. Christopher Birch, an expert affiliated with the Cottage Center for Orthopedics, will discuss treatment options for joint pain at a free event on Jan. 9 at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
The doctor will discuss all phases of joint health, from joint preservation to joint replacement. A question and answer session will follow the presentation. Refreshments will be served.
The free event will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, 400 W. Pueblo St.
