Full closure of Hwy 246 near Lompoc, detours

Star Report A one-mile section of Highway 246 from Sweeny Road to Mission Gate, near Lompoc, will be closed on Nov. 28 and Nov. 29 from 6 am until 4 pm for resurfacing. Motorists traveling in each direction will detour from State Route 246 between State Route 1 (H) Street and North Purisima Road. Residents who live within the project area will experience a short delay entering or exiting their driveways. Caltrans assures motorists the forecasted delays will not exceed 10 minutes.
