Staff Report
Students at Hancock College are now able to register for both winter and spring 2019 classes. Registration for both semesters began Nov. 13, and winter session begins the week of Dec. 17.
High school students enrolled in the College Now! program will be able to register for pre-approved classes beginning Nov. 26.
In the winter session, the college will offer 30 classes that run five weeks or less. Nearly all of the options are online classes that meet GE requirements for Hancock and four-year universities, including those in the California State University and University of California systems. Topics range from accounting to drama, health education, history, and psychology, among many others.
Spring classes begin the week of Jan. 22. The college will offer nearly 1,200 classes during the spring semester, including approximately 200 online and more than 100 at the Lompoc Valley Center.
Winter and spring class schedules are accessible through www.hancockcollege.edu. Free print copies of the winter and spring 2019 Schedule at a Glance are available at all college locations and local public libraries, while supplies last.
New students and those without a user name and password must first apply for admission to the college, which is a quick and easy process, before registering for classes. Select Apply to Hancock, located on the college’s home page, to get started.
