Highway’s 101 southbound will reopen one lane around 1 p.m. Thursday afternoon due to a single-vehicle accident at the three bridges just south of Buellton. The initial accident occurred a little before 10 a.m. Thursday morning.
Traffic scanners said a male occupant was trapped in his vehicle and hanging off the side of the freeway. CalStar was called and the highway was shut down. It will be shut down for at least another hour according to local officials.
Highway 1 at Highway 246 in Lompoc was also closed due to a Fuell spill according to local officials
