Travelers will encounter intermittent lane closures Monday through Thursday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and Friday between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. to allow Caltrans to continue ongoing slide repair work and pavement reconstruction following a series of winter storms. During these lane closures, one-way reversing traffic control will be in place.

A reduced speed zone will be in effect until all repairs are complete. This project is expected to be complete in Winter 2024.

Travelers are encouraged to be aware of electronic message boards, flaggers, and all highway workers within this work zone.

The contractor for this $10 million project is CalPortland Construction, Inc. of Santa Maria.
