Senior: Tyler Rasmussen
Sports played at Santa Ynez: Tyler played JV Football, Basketball and Baseball his Freshmen year, Varsity Baseball his Sophomore through Senior year, and Varsity Basketball his Senior year.
Favorite High School sports memory: Tyler’s favorite memory was the Sophomore year bus rides during baseball season.
Post High School plans: Tyler is planning on playing baseball at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo next year and then going where ever it takes him.
Favorite Coach, Mentor, or Teacher at Santa Ynez: One of Tyler’s favorites is Coach Caughell from Basketball because he always pushed him to do better. Coach was there to help him when he didn’t have a lot of HS basketball skill. Coach showed him that the hard work you put in and the consistency over time will pay off in the end. Another of Tyler’s favorites is Coach Dickey with baseball. Coach always supported him and pushed him to do his best. Coach truly cares about each and every one of his players.
