Staff Report

Buellton and Solvang Recreation are happy to announce the return of the 30th Annual Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 3.

“Although this year’s epic egg hunt has to be somewhat modified, we hope the changes will allow even more kids and families to enjoy the fun,” said Kyle Abello, Buellton Parks and Rec coordinator.

Recreation staff and volunteers will be hiding eggs beforehand at each of six local parks, and families will be free to hunt for eggs at their own pace all day on April 3 as supplies last. (Park hours are generally 8am to sunset). The six parks are as follows:

Solvang

Sunny Fields Park, 900 Alamo Pintado Road

Hans Christian Andersen Park, 633 Chalk Hill Drive

Alisal Commons, directly across from the River Grill entrance

Buellton

River View Park, 151 Sycamore Drive

Oak Park, 401 Sycamore Drive

Village Park, 330 Valley Vineyard Circle

Egg Hunt pamphlets will be available at each park entrance so you’ll know the areas where eggs are hidden and how to redeem your prize if you find an egg with a ticket inside.  There will be one shiny grand prize egg at each park and many smaller prize eggs.  We ask that you limit yourself to 8 eggs per child so there will be enough eggs left for all to enjoy.
