Maria McCall has been appointed to the Board of Directors at the Family Service Agency (FSA) of Santa Barbara County (also known as Santa Maria Valley Youth and Family Center and Guadalupe’s Little House By The Park). McCall is vice president/MClub director at Montecito Bank & Trust.
“We’re excited to add Maria McCall to our Board of Trustees,” said Lisa Brabo, FSA executive director. “She brings extensive community engagement and leadership experience to our board.”
McCall has served on FSA’s Senior Program Advisory Council since 2017 and has long been associated with senior programming in Santa Barbara.
She started her career with the city of Santa Barbara’s Senior Recreation Services; co-founded the Santa Barbara Senior Expo in 1988; and is a member of the Senior Programs of Santa Barbara Committee Advised Fund.
McCall is active in multiple community and nonprofit organizations, such as the Wilding Art Museum, Pearl Chase Society, and CALM.
FSA is a nonprofit social service agency that has served the people of Santa Barbara County since 1899. Operating as Santa Maria Valley Youth and Family Center in Santa Maria and Little House By The Park in Guadalupe,
FSA helps the community’s most vulnerable children, families, and seniors meet their basic needs while simultaneously addressing mental health needs. All services are provided free or on a sliding fee/donation scale, and no one is denied assistance because of an inability to pay.
