Staff Report
Several people were injured in a crash involving two vehicles on the 2300 block of Highway 154 near Rancho Alegre just after midnight on Jan. 5, according to Santa Barbara County Fire officials.
There was one person in critical condition who had to be extricated from a vehicle by firefighters, and two others who were able to make it out on their own before being transported by AMR ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
