A project to perform tree-trimming on State Route 246 from Ballard Canyon Road to east of the entrance to the Flag-Is-Up Farm will begin on Monday, October 19.

This roadwork will take place Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.  Motorists will encounter a traffic switch in this area, with two-way traffic maintained. Temporary highway closures are possible to move large equipment. 

Motorists can expect delays not to exceed 15 minutes.  Electronic message boards will be activated to inform the public about this roadwork.

This tree trimming project is expected to continue each week until Friday, November 13.  This roadwork will be performed by the Caltrans Maintenance team from Buellton, CA.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway construction zones.
